Butterflies, a visit to the shops and more dogs

Gold class said goodbye to their butterflies and released them into the wild. This has been a great experience for the pupils to look after real animals and watch them grow from egg to larva, then chrysalis and butterfly.

Two pupils went shopping at Sainsbury’s. For one, this is a great step forward because it is the first time he has been shopping with the school.

The school is starting to go back to the community where pupils can practice their school-learnt skills in new ways. Skill such as following instructions and regulating emotions are practiced in the classroom, but using these skills outside in the community is a different level.

Finally, we have two dog experiences. One is the PAT dog that visits the school and the other, a visit to the park and meeting a dog called Monty.
